What makes us different?
How is half a block to the Senate Office Buildings? Less than two blocks to House Office Buildings or the Supreme Court? Location matters and our promise to you is the best locations for Intern Housing. Our Capitol Hill properties are on the first residential block from the US Capitol and the Supreme Court. In Dupont Circle we are steps to the Circle itself. Parents and Interns tell us again and again that our superior locations are what they like best about our properties. Our row houses are in the most sought after and safest neighborhoods of Washington DC. and are a five-minute walk to the closest metro station. All have Walk Scores in the highest category – Walker’s Paradise – which means daily errands do not require a car.
By design, we limit our Washington DC intern housing to a handful of high-end properties located in the most prime locations for internships. By keeping our offerings to a handful of properties and not overcrowding them with interns, we are able to provide superior living conditions at well-maintained properties. All our rowhouses have updated kitchens and bathrooms and we provide a monthly cleaning service of the entire house (not just common areas). We are available 24/7 for maintenance issues. At Elite Intern Housing we understand that a dorm-style approach to temporary intern housing doesn’t work for everyone – especially when you are trying to put your best self forward. ALL of our properties are spacious row-houses, not cramped units in apartment buildings, and our properties are intentionally kept to a low occupancy. Our bedrooms are primarily private single bedrooms with private bathrooms en suite (inside the bedroom) and most have TVs for streaming. We offer a limited number of double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. We do not provide triple or quad bedrooms as we do not believe that is beneficial to the overall living experience.
