Our Application Process
Applying for intern housing with Elite Intern Housing is quick, easy and free and doesn't obligate you in any way. We have narrowed our process to these four easy steps:
Apply early! We process applications on a rolling basis and sell out spaces every session. Complete our online application – It’s free and comes with no obligation. Select your arrival and departure dates and occupancy preference when you apply and let us know the location of your internship or program so we can place you in the property that’s best for you. We process most applications the same day.
Once your application is approved, we will contact you about your property space assignment and the next steps. We have an electronic housing agreement and we collect Deposits through PayPal. You may use the secure portal below to pay your Deposit. Deposits are $400 (Deposits for private studios are $500). All but $150 of the Deposit is your refundable security deposit. Your reservation is secured once we have received your Deposit and the housing agreement is fully signed.
After your reservation has been made, we will send you a confirmation and work with you to set up your check-in time based on your travel plans. Before your arrival we will send you information about your house and introduce you to your roommates.
Total housing fees are due 30 days prior to the session start date. In certain circumstances, we will accept a split payment of housing fees, plus a processing fee. If housing fees are not paid when due, you may forfeit your reservation.
Helpful Information
We accept personal check, cashier’s check, money order, Zelle and through PayPal we also accept all major credit or debit cards. Payments through PayPal include a 3% processing fee.
Before your check-in date, we will send you information about the property and your roommates as well as procedural information including check-in instructions and a suggested list of what you may wish to bring. Check-ins are usually “self-check-ins” meaning we will give you the entry code and meet you at the property after you after you have settled in.
Cancellation requests must be made by email no later than 30 days prior to the session start date as provided in your housing agreement and sent to info@eliteinternhousing.com. Please confirm receipt of your cancellation notice.
Please submit a request for an extension in writing. In most cases, we are able to accommodate an extension. When you submit your signed housing agreement, you are agreeing to the term dates you have selected which means you may have to find short-term accommodations for additional days if needed.
We provide bed linens but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Pack only your bath linens and personal items! Many interns bring a device or laptop. While it is extremely rare for a personal item to go missing you may wish to keep valuable items you don’t need at home.
We are available 24/7 to respond to maintenance issues. Please send an email to info@eliteinternhousing.com and include your house name in the subject.
Deposits are to hold your spot with Elite Intern Housing and are nonrefundable in the case of cancellation. $150 of your Deposit is a nonrefundable placement processing fee and the balance is held as a refundable Security Deposit. All Security Deposits are returned through PayPal within 45 days of the end of the session (or your extended check-out date if later).
There are limited parking spaces available which we rent on a first come-first served basis for $600 per session. The parking fee for the session is due and payable with your parking reservation. Parking fees are nonrefundable in the event of cancellation unless the spot is re-rented.
Elite Intern Housing provides a cleaning service once a month. Additional cleanings, if needed, will be performed and will be paid for by the residents.
